The best brand delegation was first conducted in 2006 among the various categories (from exhaust systems to helmets) and has reached a participation level which includes 12 different European countries among the various magazines published by Motor Presse. Choosing from 160 different categories, including brakes, exhaust, helmets, tyres and boots and brakes, each best brand is chosen by participants on the basis of product availability, value, safety and communications.
Much of Metzeler's success in this contest was surely the result of the Interact™ communications plan, whereby opinion leaders and contest winners have had the chance to participate in live events, such as Roadtec Z6 Interact™ and Experts on the Road 2008, and to truly experience the essence of the Metzeler brand. These participants could then take their experiences and relay them through the interactive RideExperience.de (and RideExperience.it), where participants can view videos of ongoing events and exchange open dialogue with our dedicated staff.
The official document was received during the Readers Choice "Motorcycle of the Year 2009" award celebration which took place on March 5th during the Dortmund Motoshow. In attendance were the Motor Presse (MOTORRAD's publisher) management, the participating OE manufacturers and a various premium parts manufacturers.
