Keep cool

The "Nordschleife" doesn´t allow mistakes! In differentiation to other locked race tracks, there are only less run out areas and not on every corner are marshals waiting. That means, that a riding mistake could have a bad ending very fast. Caused by this on this public highway (with one-way direction!) it´s important to let enough reserves for correction of driving mistakes, because after the next curve or hill it could be wet or a slower turist bus dives up!
